Situated only five minutes walk from the center of town in a quiet and friendly neighborhood, Ionia House is traditional in style but a totally modern property.

Fully air conditioned, wireless internet connection throughout and with handcrafted wooden ceilings, floors, kitchen, and bathroom all together makes Ionia House the perfect beautiful place to stay at all times of the year.

Bedroom 1

Spacious bedroom with comfortable orthopedic double bed, air conditioning, wooden ceiling and floor, built in wardrobe, vanity table, bedside tables and reading lights and a small safe.

Bedroom 2

With a choice of either two single beds, or a large double bed. Air conditioning, wooden ceiling and floor, built in wardrobe, vanity table, bedside tables and reading lights.

There is a comfortable sofa bed that can be opened to make an extra single bed when required, sleeps 3 comfortably.

Kitchen

Handcrafted kitchen fully equipped with large fridge freezer, dishwasher, gas stove and electric oven, drinking water cooler and all appliances and tools needed for a comfortable stay.

Dining area

Situated by the kitchen with dining table and four chairs, this lovely bright area overlooks the garden patio with a glass door that can be opened fully.

Lounge

Bright area perfect for relaxing and reading with comfortable sofa, chair, coffee table and all enhanced by the wonderful views of the Byzantine castle.

Utility room

With clothes washing machine, hot water boiler and plenty of storage

Patio

Situated in the front of the house and paved with stone this 30 square mt area with flower beds and an open fireplace and barbecue.

Here there is a dining table and chairs for 6 and comfortable garden furniture perfect ambiance for dining and relaxing Beautiful niches with soft lighting makes romantic evenings perfect.

Terrace 1

Swimming pool terrace. Raised 15 square meter pool terrace with swimming pool, sun loungers, sun umbrella and fresh water shower. Wonderful views can be enjoyed from here

Terrace 2

This terrace is raised higher than the pool terrace and has a comfortable sofa, large enough for sleeping and relaxing and a coffee table, from this terrace you can enjoy outstanding views over the town to the Byzantine Castle, St John’s Church, the Ephesus hills and as far as the beach.

Ionia House enjoys a wonderful 13.5 square meter private swimming pool and two terraces all with outstanding views across town to St John’s Church, the Byzantine Castle, Ephesus hills and far as the sea.

All 100% cotton linens are provided with bath towels and pool towels too.

Local Area

Nice and friendly traditional neighbourhood, with local grocery store just 100 metres away from Ionia House and also situated only 5 minutes walk from the centre of town, three minutes walk to the train station and only half an hour walk from Ephesus.

To secure your reservation a deposit of 25% of the total rental price is required, this can be paid by credit card money order or by a bank transfer and the balance to be paid on arrival at the property

Place was perfect! Really top notch quality of furnishings and decor. Up to date but also authentic. Privacy and comfort were fantastic In a small space had several outdoor spaces to gather in plus the pool. All protected from the outside world by a hillside terrace. Alison was great. Met us at arrival, arranged for lunch to be delivered, found us a great guide and picked up the keys-all with a pleasant smile

Perfect house, perfect location! The house is finished to the highest quality and standard, and has everything you might need for a stay here. The pool is superb and is very welcome after a day's sightseeing at the many local historical sights....and the views from the terraces are just as in the photos. The centre of Selcuk is only a 5 minute walk from the house with all the restaurants, shops and amenities you'll ever need. Especially enjoyed visiting Ephesus, Miletus and Temple of Apollo at Didum.

We stayed in the Garden House and shared the garden and pool with our friends who stayed in the Goldsmith House. Both properties were beautiful and spotless. The grounds are gorgeous and make you feel like you are in your own private oasis. Allison was wonderful, she arranged everything for us and even met us upon our arrival to ensure everything was up to standard and to answer all of our questions. Our stay was one of the best we have ever had. We definitely work with Allison again if we return to Selcuk again.

Is was a warm welkom in a fantastic house. The house was great in all aspects: beautiful garden, nice swimmingpool with terras overlooking the city of Selcuk. The house had fully equiped kitchen, good beds and nice bathroom. All build and decorated with great care.

Alison's property is absolutely wonderful. The decoration is charming and everything is well apointed. The pool and the outdoor area are great and there is even a barbecue to grill whatever you bring from the bazaar. The view from the mezzanine is stunning and you can see until the sea. Inside the house you've got all the amenities of a modern home for a perfect stay. Beds are super comfy and the kitchen allows you to cook superb meals. The only down was that we could only stay for two nıghts. Alison is an attentıve host and made us feel very welcome. We'll come back again for sure. Thank you again for everything, Aurelien

Ionia House has free private parking in the road in front of the property.

Selcuk is situated only 55 minutes from Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport, I am very happy to organize transfers. Selcuk has a train station with direct trains to Izmir and Denizli ( Pamukkale ).
