Double bed and a private sitting area with wonderful views over the town and as far as the beach. This room has beautiful hand crafted wooden ceilings and furniture plus Turkish handmade kilims. This room has satellite television, DVD and MP3 player and air conditioning

Either used as a double bedroom or with two separate beds. Handmade furniture and handcrafted wooden ceilings and floor

Bedroom 3

Large double bedroom with hand made furniture and details. This room has satellite television, DVD and MP3 player and air conditioning and leads out to the pool area.

Situated in the upstairs house with shower, toilet and vanity table, hair dryer.

Large fully equipped kitchen with large dining area for eight. Includes dishwasher, coffee maker, juice squeezer, toaster and kettle, stove and oven and all that is needed for a comfortable self-catering holiday.

Private swimming pool and sauna with wet room toilet and shower, separate outside sink, garden furniture and large sun umbrella, Two sun loungers. Lovely views over the town.

Huge terrace with large dining table and chairs for up to twelve, stunning un spoilt views over town, the St John's Basilica, the Byzantine castle and as far as the beach.

Stone House consists of two separate building, the ground floor level house has a beautiful bedroom, modern bathroom and large kitchen with dining area. and a private room with sofa bed which can be opened when needed.

This floor is where the swimming pool and sauna and utility room are situated.

Upstairs House consists of two beautiful bedrooms, the master bedroom enjoys a private raised sitting room with relaxing sofas and beautiful vews. There is modern bathroom on this floor.

Local Area

Stone House enjoys stunning panoramic views from its terraces across the ancient town to Ephesus, St John's Basilica, and the Byzantine castle to the sea.

Above Selcuk, nestling amongst traditional houses five minutes walk from the centre of town lies Stone House.

Wow!! This house was perfect for a family vacation. The outdoor dining terrace was beautiful. Selcuk is a charming town with a great farmers market, restaurants, and shops. The location provides easy access to a number of historical sites. Alison was a terrific host. She arranged for a cook and a driver, who were both fantastic! Even after our stay was over she continued to help us out when we were in the area. We all agreed it was a 5 star stay. I would definitely stay at The Stone House again. Thank you Alison from all of us!!

Stone House is a luxury villa overlooking the atmospheric town of Selcuk, an archeological treasure trove. The house itself is a joy, and Alison was the perfect host. Her response time was phenomenal, her local knowledge invaluable and her attention to detail ensured we settled in seamlessly. The terrace, pool and sauna were put to good use and the worst thing about the house was that it was so nice it was hard to leave to see the incredible sights. Like the stalks we would have liked to stay longer. I can't recommend Stone House enough.

Stone House is a beautiful home well situated in Selcuk which is close to so many wonderful sites. It is 2 km from Ephesus and a short trip to a beach. The house has been exquisitely renovated and the suana, pool, outdoor fireplace/oven combo is wonderful. The house is actually 2 separate buildings and affords plenty of places to enjoy the outdoors, the view from the rooftop terrace is incredible. My only negative comment is that the only real indoor common space, other the kitchen, is situated off the master bedroom, but if you are there when the weather is warm it would never be a problem. Allison was very attentive and helpful and attention to detail is superb. Truly a wonderful place to spend time while in Turkey.

Selçuk is situated eight kilometres from the Aegean coast, one hour away from Izmir, the third largest city in Turkey and 55 minutes away from Izmir Adnan Menderes airport where there are many international and domestic flights daily. Selçuk train station has connections to Izmir and towards Denizli. There is a very decent bus services all over Turkey and the local mini buses run frequently to the local sites and towns.
